Hi! My name is Sarah Shehorn. I am 19 years old and from Safety Harbor, FL. Currently, I am a junior at Florida State majoring in Mass Communications with a minor is broadcast journalism. However, those close to me would argue that my real passion is children. Growing up, I gained a lot of experience early on helping my mom take care of my younger twin brothers. At 13, I began babysitting the neighborhood children as often as I could – I loved it! During high school, I dual-enrolled full-time at a local community college and began tutoring my peers once a week. It was then that I was blessed with a wonderful opportunity; a part-time nanny-job for three beautiful girls. For a little over a year, the girls and I bonded as I took them to recreational practices, fed them dinner, and did homework with them. I feel very lucky to have built such a great relationship with a wonderful family, with whom I am STILL very close to today! In addition to this family, I have cared for infants and toddlers, as well as babysat with children of all ages. I am reliable, trustworthy, and of course, CPR certified! Each day, I put my faith and God and am thankful to have a life surrounded by children… they have a way of putting a smile on your face!
