Hello families! My name is Jessica Watson, and I am a sophomore at Florida State University. I am studying psychology with minors in both Spanish and family and child sciences. I plan to become a school psychologist or guidance counselor. I worked in a daycare in my hometown of Gulf Breeze, FL. There I was an assistant teacher to children aged mainly two to five. I worked briefly in other classrooms with infants. There were also a few older children in the summer camp program there that were as old as 11 years. Therefore, I am comfortable with all age groups. I have taken 10 hours of online courses through the Department of Families and Children. I have also completed and passed two background checks in different counties. Last spring I volunteered at Ruediger Elementary School as a mentor in a kindergarten class, and can therefore help children with their homework in a fun and interactive way. I love children and want the best for them. I am dependable, firm but fun, and well qualified. I love pets and have a reliable car for pick-ups and drop-offs if the need arises. I look forward to meeting you and your children!
